The Green Corridor Initiative aims to strengthen the cooperation between Italy and Egypt in the agro-food sector. Its objective is to increase the export of Egyptian fruits and vegetables towards Italy and, through Italy, towards Europe, as well as to open the Egyptian markets to some Italian fruits and vegetables. All this taking advantage of the complementary seasonality that allows Egyptian producers to reach the Italian market while they will not compete with the local production. It is most important for Egypt to establish partnerships with Italian farmers and to increase the investment in this sector. The final result will be new job openings and the opportunity for local operators to acquire new skills and to contribute significantly to the growth of the Egyptian GDP.

IN the FrutiVeg Egypt Fair, Itsynergy was a representative company for presenting the latest technology of tracing products for Green Corridor project as a consequence of cooperation the Italian Embassy and Egyptian Ministries (Agriculture, Transportation, Industrial).FrutiVeg Egypt was the exhibition where all the Middle East suppliers and buyers meet together in one place to exchange the experts and to show the latest technology used to export fresh fruit & vegetables in fast and save way.

Itsynergy presented Geo-traceability solution which goes step further to the mandatory traceability requirements providing a markets advantage for the producers and importers. Using a unique Land Parcel Identification system, we establish a clear relation between the product and the territory, with detailed geograghic information, digital maps and satellite images of the landplot and the surrounding environment where the product was harvested and processed.
