The TIS will be developed using Open Source Software and will build on previous experiences of IT Synergy in this field.

According to Enzo Puliatti, chairman of IT Synergy, this initiative, accompanied by a fully fledged capacity transfer for the staff of the project, will provide the base for the establishment of a GIS based Digital Governorate Management System.

IT Synergy is expected to complete the this project within December 2007.
