The Training Division of IT Synergy is one of the four main units of the company. Others are: GIS – Geographical Information Systems, Software Development and IP Telephony.

Since its early inception in 1999 IT Synergy has included capacity building and training as component inherent to all its activities. Both for softskills, such as project management, reporting and writing skills, among others, and technical: business Open Source, Linux administration, GIS and many others.

In Egypt IT Synergy has provided training for hundreds of Government employees: Linux Administration and GIS for the staff Minya Governorate, for the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, for the Ministry of Investment and Trade and many others. ERP and CRM training courses have been provided to Egyptian SMEs on behalf of Intel and of the Social Fund for Development, just to mention a few. Our technical instructors routinely provide their assistance to large educational organizations such as ITI in the field of Open Source GIS and Linux OS. Similar training programs were carried out in Lebanon and Syria.

As of today IT Synergy if the only official partner for training and professional services for Adobe Professional in Egypt and for Digium Co., the main player in the field of IP telephony. It has also established a regional technical lab for hands-on training on IP telephony as main partner of SNOM, the leading German IP Phone company, among others.

IT Synergy has multiple locations in the region and in Italy. Its Smart Village HQs has multiple training locations, including a fully fledged PC lab for 1 to 1 training equipped with last generation PCs, servers, IP Phones and communication equipments.

IT Synergy owns and manage its own E-Learning platform. It has carried on many large E-learning projects for International Organizations such as UNIDO – The United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the European Union, as well as for Egyptian governmental bodies such as the Ministry of Investment and the ministry of Industry and Trade (GOEIC).

Thanks to this platform, IT Synergy can implement in its courses the so called “Blended Learning”: a combination of multiple approaches to learning. Blended learning is accomplished through the use of 'blended' virtual and physical resources. A combination of technology-based materials and face-to-face sessions used together to deliver instruction. In the strictest sense our instructors combine two methods of delivery of instruction. In addition to well-structured lesson in the classroom we also provide follow-up materials online. IT Synergy provides training in its Smart Village location or on-site according to the customer requirements.
